I know what you mean. Defending the flag isn't very fun when some random Juggernaut can clear the stand from halfway (or on Crossfire, all the way) across the map.

Serves me right for dumping all my exp into Doombringer, I guess.

Shazbot! I still haven't played the new Tribes but all I'm hearing about it is how the game is either unbalanced or it sucks outright.

It's miserable playing defense as a Technician. I peek out of the generator room to repair damaged assets, and when I go back the generators down and there's 3 Heavies destroying anything that gets in. Once their gone and the generator room is safe, all the base assets are down again because now those 3 Heavies are bombing them from a distance.

I need to buy a table specifically to flip it for moments like that.

As much as I really want to play D3, I'll probably wait to play it once its out. Also I will probably die from withdrawal when I can't play anymore.

I hope there comes a day when EA realizes how many more customers they could get by having BF3 and Mass Effect 3 on Steam.
Although not a big deal, I hope Microsoft putting their F2P Flight game on Steam as well as 'games for windows live' as a sign of hope for Steam's overall and future dominance.

I have no idea. My options when encountering those horrible things are: scream, run away, urinate myself, shoot it, or all of the above.

Geth Pulse Rifle. Use Disrupter ammo for barrier then incendiary ammo for the armor/hp.

Takes a while. If you use energy drain it'll take away some of the barrier health too.

Haven't encountered them on single player yet. It's mostly the ones in Multiplayer that give me some trouble. And the Ravagers. And the Brutes. Oh hell, the Reaper horde is terrifyingly difficult to go up against.

Wait, F&K, I was under the impression that you didn't own the game; how are you making all of these judgments about its subjective improvement?

Youtube videos. The criticisms were from watching and reading some 'reviews' on Metacritic, which, as Dead Skred has kindly informed me, are a bunch of disgruntled fanatics and trolls attempting to defame Bioware.

The thing is, some of the criticisms are warranted but, as one of my friends is an animator, I can appreciate the improvements done to a certain extent.

it's a fine game. ended up playing it. Facial animations could have been improved but that would have meant another couple hundred thousand dollar investment in face recognition equipment along with hours with the actors in order to nail some stuff down.

I would say it's a 9/10 game.

I never bought any fish; or model ships. Also, I forgot to mention the engineers. I played cards with them, they were super cool as well.

Legion was my favourite.

I think Legion was cool in a plot sense. He wasn't exactly the greatest character of the bunch, but it was awesome to learn more about the Geth by actually talking to one.
